CAN I VOTE IN PERSON IF I ALREADY REQUESTED AN ABSENTEE/MAIL BALLOT?

Yes, but you have to wait until October 28. You should bring your ballot with you to the polls then. If you don't bring your ballot with you, you may have to vote by provisional ballot, which takes longer to fill out, and won't be counted until after Election Day. If you have the benefit of time, you may want call your local election office or track your ballot to confirm your ballot was sent and wait for it to arrive.

It’s not too late – find your state’s specific deadline is below. BUT given how close it is to Election Day, to make sure your vote is counted on time, please deliver your ballot in person, whether at an early voting site, a secure drop box, or your polling place on November 3 (E-Day)! Voting by Mail? #makeitcount

  1. Sign it. Make sure to sign and seal the inner AND outer envelopes.
  2. Do not detach the inner envelope flap.
  3. Match your signature to your “official” sig on file. Not sure what that is? Match to your government ID.
  4. Get it in ASAP. Bring your ballot to a drop box, which is located at your county clerk office. If you can’t, mail it ASAP!
  5. Track it. Track your ballot at & contact your country clerk if you see any issues.
